I pretty much love you guys and love how you actually post sources for people who've made the charts. You guys could so easily be dicks like other "Ilove____" or similar pictureblogs and take credit for other people's work or never mention them, but you don't. That's why I'll always recommend you guys and continue to be a follower. :)
I’m glad that people notice the effort. Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks to Jason and Cody for offering me this prestigious Chartist in Residence position. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed what I had to share, and (especially) thanks to even a few haters for coming out and taking part today.
If you’re enjoyed any of the STW guest-comics or older comics, Surviving the World updates daily. Hope you decide to stop on by the site.
Other than that, down the road, there’ll soon be STW labcoats available in the store, and a book collection in a few months. More immediately, you can email me questions for weekly recitation or (until Monday) submit a student presentation to be used on the site.
Dante: What's the best lesson you've ever taught over at STW?
That’s a tough question, because I don’t really know how you define “best”. The ones that are most effective in getting a message across, or funniest? These are ones that are probably near the top, though:
why do you always look so terrified in the pictures with the charts?
That’s not looking terrified, that’s keeping my eyes open all the way. Try taking pictures of yourself with your eyes only half or partially opened. If you’re a male, you’ll look high. If you’re a female, you’ll look sultry. I am a male, and thus, I would rather not look high all the time.
Greetings. I’m Dante Shepherd, the so-called Chartist In Residence for the day, which means I’m about to take over with my brand of nonsense for a little while. You may know me from such photocomics as Surviving the World and Surviving the World II: Electric Boogaloo.
I have a lot of new stuff, some of my favorite old stuff, and a lot of other stuff, too. So I hope you enjoy everything I have to share today. Feel free to ask questions and I’ll try to answer a few of those as well.
