Hey guys, please reread the passage cited indicating that Pennsylvania doesn't allow atheists to run for office. I think it indicates the exact opposite, that no person who acknowledges "a god" (presumably any god) will be stopped from running for public off based on their religious leanings.
That is precisely why I put the language up. I think it is a stretch to include in the chart. However, I chose to read it differently than you, that it is limiting its protection to those who believe in a God and specifically a system with a rewards/punishment-based afterlife.
I'm an avid follower & I love you guys! However, I think it's important to note the background information of your child poverty rate chart. The chart's data is from a UNICEF article ("Tens of millions of children living in poverty in the world’s richest countries") which states that the data reflects only the world's "advanced industrial economies." Third world countries were not included in this study. Some people might get the wrong idea if this isn't clarified.
A very good point and distinction. I thought that was in the fine print after I read the article but was wrong. So, for those who did not click through to the article, it is indeed describing the “developed world.”
