Owners of Portugal

I wrote earlier about a set of charts I was sent relating to the Portuguese economy, specifically the families involved and how they connect throughout history. The charts were taken from the above documentary, which is now available with English subtitles. 

Seeing as the point of my article was that the charts I was sent gave me a false sense of perspective about something (Portuguese history and its economy) about which I am largely ignorent, and that the upshot was that I (and by extension, we) should use charts and their data as gateways to knowledge, not as cliff-notes, it is only right that I sit down and watch this now. I invite anybody who is interested to join me.
